We’re so glad that you’re a part of the Modern Ritual community!

We inspire and educate people on how to build beautiful, modern Jewish lives.

Modern Ritual is run by two Rabbis: Samantha Frank and Rena Singer.  

We started @Modern_Ritual the Instagram account in the spring of 2017 when Rena approached Sam in our rabbinical school’s library with the idea: "There needs to be engaging, beautiful Jewish content on Instagram," she said, "and I think we can create it together."  "I'm in," said Sam.  

"No, I want to do this for real," Rena responded.  Sam thought for a minute.  "I'm in."

Since then, thanks to you - more and more people engage with @Modern_Ritual's feminist, Jewish content every day.  We love being Jewish - how our particular identity helps us see the world, and we love sharing it with you.
